Biography
Né le 6 octobre 1988 en Basse-Normandie (France), j'ai appris à jouer du violon dès mon plus jeune âge. De cette symbiose entre le musicien et l'instrument, une passion a vu le jour. Après avoir réussi mon baccalauréat, j'ai quitté la France pour aller étudier la lutherie à l'école anglaise de Newark-on-Trent. Après quatre années d'une riche formation, j'ai commencé à travailler en Allemagne, en 2011, auprès du luthier Jörg Weimer (à Herford), pendant six mois. Au printemps 2012, j'ai rejoint l'atelier de Thomas Uphoff (Mannheim), dans lequel je travaille toujours.
En parallèle, je fabrique mes propres instruments. J'ai déjà fait quatre violons ainsi qu'un violoncelle.
Born on the sixth of October 1988 in Normandy (France), I've learnt to play the violin at a very young age. Then a passion was born from the symbiosis between the musician and the instrument. After successfully completing my baccalaureate, I left France to study the art of violin making at the international school of violin making of Newark-on-Trent (England). After four years of rich training, I started to work in Germany in 2011 with the luthier Jörg Weimer (Herford), for six months. In spring 2012, I joined the workshop of Thomas Uphoff (Mannheim), where I still work.
In parallel, I make my own instruments. I've built four violins and a cello.
